Creating Impact Through Innovation
At Innofarms, impact is seen in lives changed, communities empowered, and environmental burden reduced. By bringing world-class processing technology directly to where produce is grown, we're proving that innovation can be both economically viable and socially transformative.
Global Alignment with UN SDGs
SDG 2
Zero Hunger
Reducing post-harvest food loss is critical to global food security. Our mobile processing units convert surplus and imperfect produce into nutritious, shelf-stable products that would otherwise be wasted. By preserving food at peak ripeness right at the source, we're increasing food availability and improving access to quality nutrition.
SDG 8
Decent Work and Growth
We create meaningful employment opportunities in rural areas where economic options are limited. By enabling producers to capture more value from their harvests, we're improving incomes and building sustainable livelihoods. Our model demonstrates that agricultural processing can drive inclusive economic growth in underserved regions.
SDG 9
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Our containerized mobile processing technology represents genuine innovation in agricultural infrastructure. We're bringing world-class, export-quality processing capabilities to remote and challenging locations, proving that advanced industrial infrastructure doesn't have to be centralized or permanently fixed.
SDG 12
Responsible Consumption & Production
Agricultural waste represents both an economic loss and an environmental burden. Our technology embodies the circular economy approach, transforming what would be waste into valuable products. Through efficient resource utilization and waste minimization, we're helping create more responsible production patterns.
SDG 13
Climate Action
Every ton of produce we process at the farm gate eliminates hundreds of kilometers of transportation, directly reducing carbon emissions. Beyond transportation savings, we prevent methane emissions from decomposing waste and utilize energy-efficient processing technology.
Real Places, Real Changes
Impact stories from across India.

Ladakh: Processing at Extreme Altitude
Ladakh's Nubra Valley produces seabuckthorn, a superfruit with enormous potential, but at 3,000+ meters altitude and temperatures hitting -40°C, no processing infrastructure existed. Local producers sold raw berries at minimal prices, unable to capture their true value. Innofarms deployed mobile processing units in these extreme conditions, proving our technology could operate where conventional wisdom said it was impossible. Today, Ladakh's seabuckthorn is processed into premium pulp right in the valley, with producers capturing significantly more value and demonstrating that farm-gate processing can work anywhere.
Kashmir: Turning Waste Apples into Value
Kashmir produces 75% of India's apples, but up to 30% gets graded as "C-grade", nutritionally sound but cosmetically imperfect, and traditionally discarded or sold at throwaway prices. Innofarms brought mobile processing to the valley, converting these "waste" apples into high-quality pulp that food manufacturers actually want. Operating in Kashmir's complex logistics and challenging conditions, we proved that our technology thrives where the need is greatest, turning what was once an environmental burden into economic opportunity and helping producers capture value from their entire harvest.

Meghalaya: Pineapple Processing in the Hills
Less than 10% of India's pineapples get processed (compared to 97% globally), with hilly states like Meghalaya facing the worst infrastructure challenges. Ripe pineapples often perished before reaching distant processing facilities, locking producers into limited fresh-fruit markets. Innofarms brought mobile processing directly to Meghalaya's farms, eliminating long-distance transportation and creating processing options where geography made it previously impossible. Now producers convert ripe fruit into shelf-stable pulp before spoilage, proving our model's versatility across diverse crops, terrains, and agricultural contexts.
Our Impact: Environmental & Community Benefits

Environmental Stewardship
Significantly reducing green house gas emission by utilizing grade b variety harvest, that would be otherwise deemed waste in landfills. Minimizing waste generation and promoting circular economy principles.

Community Empowerment
Creating rural job opportunities and fostering local economic growth. Enhancing community health and well-being through cleaner environment. Educating and engaging local populations in sustainable practices and innovation.
Real-World Example: 5 TPD Aseptic Unit

Revolutionizing Food Processing with Aseptic Technology
Our Mobile Aseptic Plant is a prime example of SNL Innovations commitment to sustainable food processing. This state-of-the-art facility enables us to move farm to farm, to process fruits at their time of harvest. In 2024 we processed litchi, guava, jamun, orange and mango all with one single unit at different farm locations.
